It also caters for international destinations such as Seoul, Hong Kong, Honolulu and, in the near future, Taipei as well. Flights to Tokyo take about 1 hour, those to Osaka about 2 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JR (Japan Railways) Airport Express runs between the airport and the JR Sapporo Station every 15 minutes, taking 36 minutes. You could also take an airport bus service, which takes you to central Sapporo in 1 hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Train<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You might wish to take a JR train from Honshu (Japan\u2019s main island) to Hokkaido through the Seikan Tunnel. Though the journey between Tokyo and Sapporo takes a full day, this offers you the chance to see or even to stop off in northern Honshu en route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>From the Sapporo Central Station<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can get out of the Station from its North-West gate. Walk one bloc to the north and turn left at the crossroad. Straight to the central gate of the University, you could follow the map as below.
